Welcome Pastor Annemarie Burke!Help us create a colorful “Welcome Board” for our new pastor! Add your name (and a short greeting if you want) to the wall display in the entrance area – index cards and markers are available on the table. We will keep the board going through Pastor Annemarie’s official installation by Bishop Deborah Hutterer during worship at 9am on Sunday, August 16. Thursday, August 6 – Calling all singers (not just choir members) -- we need YOU in the Summer Choir for the special music for Pastor Annemarie’s Installation on August 16th! Even if you only sing at home or in the car, your voice will add to the overall sound of praise on that exciting day in the life of our church. Rehearsals with Becky in the choir loft (choose one or all): August 6 and 13 (Thursdays) at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, August 9 immediately after worship. |

Sunday, July 26 – Manna Bag Assembly in Werner Hall after worship, come join the assembly line to create Manna Bags and then take some with you to keep in your car to hand out to those in need. Sunday, July 26 – Men’s Summer Chorus rehearsal immediately after worship today and next Sunday. We invite any and all men (even if you only sing at home or in your car) to gather with Becky Solomon by the piano as we make a joyful noise unto the Lord. We will be singing Amazing Grace. Tuesday, July 28—Pint with the People at 6:30pm at Catalina Brewing (6918 N Camino Martin). Looking for real conversations about life, faith, and everything in between? Pull up a chair and join us. Whether you’re full of questions, deep in your faith, or just curious, you belong here. Bring a friend or come solo and make new ones! Cheers to good conversations and even better people—see you there! Friday, July 31 – Meet & Greet at the Academy for all new or interested parents at 9:30am. Saturday, Aug 1 – Movies that Matter, watch Unsung Hero at 2pm in the conference room. The 2024 film Unsung Hero is based on the remarkable true story of the Smallbone family. It details their journey from Australia to the United States and how the family navigated immense hardships to become prominent figures in the Christian music industry (contemporary Christian singer Rebecca St. James). Sunday WorshipWelcome into our community today as we seek to follow the one who gathers us. We gather in the unity of Christ and are all invited to the Lord’s Table. He is the host —we are all guests. We celebrate that Jesus came to us and continues to come to us. In faith we receive the body and blood of our Lord and Savior. We believe that he did this “for you.” We welcome ALL to Communion for it is the Lord’s Table and Jesus’s gift of grace to the world.
