Help us create a colorful “Welcome Board” for our new pastor! Add your name (and a short greeting if you want) to the wall display in the entrance area – index cards and markers are available on the table. We will keep the board going through Pastor Annemarie’s official installation by Bishop Deborah Hutterer during worship at 9am on Sunday, August 16.

Fourteen people joined us for our New & Revised Games Galore on July 15th and enjoyed an afternoon of fun, laughter, and fellowship. One group rolled the dice in a lively game of Yahtzee, while another shared plenty of laughs playing Over-the-Hill-opoly and Mexican Train Dominoes. Everyone enjoyed delicious snacks, friendly competition, and great conversation, making it a wonderful time together. We can't wait to see you at the next Games Galore!

Sunday, July 19 – We welcome Pastor Annemarie Burke as our newly called pastor! Pastor Annemarie will be formally installed by Bishop Hutterer on Sunday, August 16 during worship at 9am.

Sunday, July 19, 3rd Sunday of the month – Noisy Offering during worship. The children will be passing coffee cans around for you to place loose change and help support our GRACE Center, which gives out food, clothing, shoes, and hygiene supplies to those in need. Jingle-Jangle!

Tuesday, July 21—Pima County Primary Election Vote Center in Werner Hall from 6am-7pm.

Saturday, July 25 – Movies that Matter, watch Joseph at 2pm in the conference room. The Bible story of Joseph from the book of Genesis comes alive in this 1995 film starring Ben Kingsley and Martin Landau.  We’ll watch Joesph’s rise to power as Pharoah’s chief administrator during a time of extreme famine, which led to Joseph’s confrontation with his estranged brothers who had sold him into slavery, concluding with his ultimate act of forgiveness and love.

Movies That Matter—an opportunity to watch inspiring films that explore faith, hope, courage, and the challenges of everyday life. Come enjoy an afternoon of fellowship, thoughtful discussion, and films that teach us about life and faith. Everyone is welcome! Movies that Matter will be shown on Saturdays in July at 2pm in the conference room.  Aug 1 Unsung Hero.

Next Sunday, July 26 – Manna Bag Assembly in Werner Hall after worship, come join the assembly line to create Manna Bags and then take some with you to keep in your car to hand out to those in need.

Donate items we need to fill the Manna Bags:

• Protein (pouches of chicken, peanut butter pouches/cups, vienna sausages, jerky, meat sticks)
• Electrolyte powder packets
• pudding cups            
• granola or protein bars
• Individual packets of crackers or nuts         
• Fruit cups/snacks or dried fruit           
• Bottled Water            

A month-long food drive focused on the best thing to put between sliced bread: PEANUT BUTTER! Join us in spreading the love — one jar at a time. Bring your jars of peanut butter to the church and place them in the bin marked ICS or on the table under the TV in the entrance area.

Christmas donations in July!  Help us start collecting toys for The Lot on 22nd Christmas meal in December.  The month of December is always filled with the joy of giving, now you can experience some of that joy in July. We are looking for gifts appropriate for all different ages and genders.  Art and science kits and sports balls are great gift ideas. There is a donation box in the entrance area for the toys.

The Sunday Dollar$ team will be directing funds received during the months of August and September to Beautiful Savior Academy for supplies and material needed for the opening of the school year.  Every two months the team will announce one of our ministries or community outreach programs, where needs exist, to receive funds.  Any loose one-dollar bills deposited in the collection plates are for Sunday Dollar$.

We gather in the unity of Christ and are all invited to the Lord’s Table. He is the host —we are all guests. We celebrate that Jesus came to us and continues to come to us.  In faith we receive the body and blood of our Lord and Savior. We believe that he did this “for you.” We welcome ALL to Communion for it is the Lord’s Table and Jesus’s gift of grace to the world.
