TIme to say GoodbyeLetter from Pastor Jeff This Sunday completes my time with you as your interim pastor. I don’t know about you but for me goodbyes are never easy. Mary Oliver in her poem, “In Blackwater Woods” says… To live in this world
you must be able to do three things: to love what is mortal; to hold it
against your bones knowing your own life depends on it; and, when the time comes to let it go, to let it go.
It has been my privilege and delight to serve you these past months and wait with you while calling your new shepherd Pastor Annemarie Burke. Finally, I leave you with two blessings:
May you always walk in beauty May you always rest in love May you always feel at home May you never feel alone
“For all that has been, thanks. For all that shall be, yes.” -Dag Hammarskjold |

Love in ActionWays to show G.R.A.C.E. Christmas donations in July! Help us start collecting toys for The Lot on 22nd Christmas meal in December. The month of December is always filled with the joy of giving, now you can experience some of that joy in July. We are looking for gifts appropriate for all different ages and genders. Art and science kits and sports balls are great gift ideas. There is a donation box in the entrance area for the toys. Starting July 1st -A month-long food drive focused on the best thing to put between sliced bread: PEANUT BUTTER! The goal is to collect (along with other faith communities and groups) thousands of jars of peanut butter for the ICS Food Bank. Every jar donated supports families in need and helps fight hunger in our community. Join us in spreading the love — one jar at a time. Bring your jars of peanut butter to the church and place them in the bin marked ICS or on the table under the TV in the entrance area. Can you help out? In May TIHAN (Tucson Interfaith HIV/AIDS Network) distributed 217 CarePackages—the highest monthly total so far this year. These packages include essential personal care and household cleaning items that are not covered by SNAP benefits but are critical for maintaining health and stability. TIHAN is now in desperate need of small boxes of Kleenex, small bottles of Hand Soap, Shaving Cream, and Disposable Razors. Next time you’re at the store, consider picking up one of those items and putting it in the TIHAN donation bin in our narthex/entrance area. |

We gather in the unity of Christ and are all invited to the Lord’s Table. He is the host —we are all guests. We celebrate that Jesus came to us and continues to come to us. In faith we receive the body and blood of our Lord and Savior. We believe that he did this “for you.” We welcome ALL to Communion for it is the Lord’s Table and Jesus’s gift of grace to the world.
