ForgivenessLetter from Pastor Tony “For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you” (Matthew 6:14) I love talking forgiveness! We all need to reflect more about what this really means in our every day lives… for even those close to us. It’s more than forgiving our enemies. Forgiveness is not always easy for us nor is it always what we say it is. Forgiveness is an ability that God has to do freely, lovingly, and unconditionally. It is through our faith in Jesus that I think we are able to forgive others, not because we feel like it or because we are so good and holy, but because Jesus became human and through his life, death, and resurrection God brought forgiveness to the entire world. Forgiveness is a key to showing we indeed have eternal life inside us... For more infomation visit:

GCS Mission Support Impact Story:We Set a New Record for Ordinations Because of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church’s faithful mission support, the Grand Canyon Synod is celebrating six ordinations in 2025, with a seventh anticipated in December. This is the most in our synod's history, and for the first time ever, we've welcomed two deacons into Word and Service Ministry. Your stewardship is actively empowering leaders across our synod. Bishop Hutterer has written a letter to share the remarkable story of one of these newly ordained leaders, Pastor Solomon Kuch. His journey from refugee to rostered pastor will help you understand what's possible when God's call meets your congregation's generosity. I invite you to read and share this story to highlight the tangible difference giving makes in raising up leaders across our synod. Thank you for being church together! Love in Action - Ways You Can Help Out
BSLC Academy’s Fruits of the Spirit—Food Collection through Nov. 30. The annual Fall Food Drive. At Thanksgiving, the Academy likes to teach and practice the "Fruits of the Spirit" with the students. They do so by hosting a food drive to benefit ICS (Interfaith Community Services) Each week in November, the students will be asked to bring in a designated food item if able. The donations will be collected in their classrooms and then brought to Chapel for blessings before donating them to the food bank. If you'd like to help our Academy kids, they are collecting the following items: Cereal, Pasta noodles, canned pasta sauce (no glass jars please!), Soup, meals in a can (Ravioli, Spaghetti-O's, chili, etc.), Mac & Cheese Thursday, Nov. 27 - Thanksgiving Dinner at The Lot on 22nd. This year we are partnering with Our Saviour’s Lutheran to provide the meal. We are responsible for the turkeys (already cooked and carved) and drinks.
