Have you ever felt stuck in old habits or patterns that just don’t serve you anymore? If so, you’re not alone. Many people seek renewal and transformation in their lives. This brings us to a profound scripture that holds the key to a fresh start. This is exactly what the fresh start here at Beautiful Savior can bring! You are about to embark on a new chapter in the history of Beautiful Savior. Last Sunday at the congregational meeting I kind of gave a pep talk to everyone talking about this new transformation taking place with great excitement. 10am Outdoor Worship & church picnicEveryone is invited! - Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 10am Worship in the Park at 10am followed by a church picnic. We have reserved the ramada and tables at Denny Dunn Park, just down the hill from the church at 4400 W Massingale Rd, Tucson. DIRECTIONS: Directly west down Massingale Road which runs alongside Beautiful Savior. Watch stop signs at Oldfather Road; cross traffic does not stop! Park in the park lot. If full, park on Rae Avenue across the street. There is no parking on Massingale. NOTE: There will only be one worship service at 10am on Sunday, Nov. 9th at the park, with NO worship service here at BSLC. Thanks to Garrett Bryant the worship from the park will be livestreamed, click on the button below for the Facebook and Zoom links. Bring your own camp chairs or blankets to sit on the ground. For those who don't have chairs the church will have a limited number available at the park. If you wish to drink something non-alcoholic other than water, please bring your own. The church will provide hotdogs, hamburgers, and water. We are asking members to bring side dishes and desserts to share in order to create a delicious Beautiful Savior potluck of food & goodies! Tuesday, Nov. 11—Women’s Bible Study at 9:30am in Werner Hall. All women of any age are invited to join this group. Come enjoy new friends, a snack and a Bible study. You may contact Barbara Peterson at 520-222-5160, Cozyteapot2@cox.net if you have any questions. Tuesday, Nov. 11—Pint with a Pastor at 6:30pm. Come out to Catalina Brewing Company, grab a beverage of choice and settle in for good conversation about faith and life, led by Pastor Tony. Thursday, Nov. 13—PrimeTimers at 12:30pm. Everyone is invited to join us for food (Thanksgiving dinner), fellowship, & great music provided by Hank Hasenpat & the Ocotillo Bluegrass band. Turkey will be provided. Love in ActionGenerosity, Reaching Out, Advocacy, Compassion, and Encouragement BSLC Academy’s Fruits of the Spirit—The annual Fall Food Drive. At Thanksgiving, the Academy likes to teach and practice the "Fruits of the Spirit" with the students. They do so by hosting a food drive to benefit ICS (Interfaith Community Services) Each week in November, the students will be asked to bring in a designated food item if able. The donations will be collected in their classrooms and then brought to Chapel for blessings before donating them to the food bank. If you'd like to help our Academy kids, they are collecting the following items: Week 1: Cereal Week 2: Pasta noodles, canned pasta sauce (no glass jars please!) Week 3: Soup, meals in a can (Ravioli, Spaghetti-O's, chili, etc.) Week 4: Mac & Cheese Donations go up to the altar.
