What love looks like

What love looks like

Letter from Pastor Jeff

To Beautiful Savior, have an amazing Holy Week where God shatters all our delusions of control and instead shows us what true love looks like. So off to Jerusalem we go on a pathway of sacrificial suffering in hopes of truly understanding how God loves the world.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the areas of man’s concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of his existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses. (JFK)

A Palm Sunday poem

Now to the gate of my Jerusalem,

The seething holy city of my heart,

The saviour comes. But will I welcome him? .....

On Maundy Thursday, April 2, at 7:00 pm, our worship team will present a musical drama, “God So Loved.” Beautiful choir music and newly composed dramatic monologues for seven followers of Jesus will convey the message of God's transformative love and mercy. Holy Communion will be included during the musical.

Life and death stand side by side as we enter into Good Friday, April 3 at 7pm.  Join us for a Tenebrae worship service reminding us of the passion of Christ. A Tenebrae is a service of meditation and reflection, featuring Scripture readings, music, and the symbolic extinguishing of candles to represent the darkness of Christ's death.

Join us on Saturday, April 4 at 9am to decorate the sanctuary for Easter Sunday.

Palm Sunday Worship

Palm Sunday Worship

9am in person and livestreamed - Sunday, March 29, 2026

Welcome into our community today as we seek to follow the one who gathers us.
May you feel a connection to the beautiful Savior in worship this day! May you join us in Living in Grace, Love and Action.

We gather in the unity of Christ and are all invited to the Lord’s Table. He is the host —we are all guests. We celebrate that Jesus came to us and continues to come to us.  In faith we receive the body and blood of our Lord and Savior. We believe that he did this “for you.” We welcome ALL to Communion for it is the Lord’s Table and Jesus’s gift of grace to the world.

Join us in-person, on Facebook Live at Beautifulsaviortucson, and on Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88641186563   Meeting ID: 886 4118 6563 and Passcode: 188820
