PUTTING THINGS INTO PERSPECTIVE FOR YOU….

According to LIFEWAY RESEARCH - Twenty years ago, most churches (53%) were growing by at least 5%. The latest FACT study of more than 15,000 religious congregations in the U.S. found only around 1 in 3 (34%) grew weekly worship attendance at least 5% in the last five years. Most churches (52%) were in decline of at least 5%, while another 14% reported their attendance today is within 5%, plus or minus, of what it was five years ago.

More than 15,000 U.S. religious congregations revealed that 7 in 10 U.S. churches have 100 or fewer weekly worship service attendees, while 7 in 10 U.S. churchgoers attend a church with more than 250 each week...

SO…. HERE WE ARE:  Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church

In the past 10 months we have extensively researched a lot about who we are as a congregation and what we need to do to prepare ourselves for strong Pastoral Leadership.  We have re-evaluated what type of leadership we are looking for to take us into the future.  We are currently in the call process...

God’s Work. Our Hands. Sunday—Sept. 7

GWOH day is Sunday, September 7, after the service. The event will be held in Werner Hall. The program will be a ministry fair with display space for all church ministries, both for the internal ministries that make the church function and external for those reaching out to the community. There will be three or four long tables for assembling Manna Bags, round tables for ministries, and a few round tables to eat at for LLL. If you are part of a ministry, event or community outreach and would like to set up a display board, please contact Jenni in the church office.  Plan to come and see all the amazing things happening here at BSLC & our community!

Love in Action - Ways You Can Help Out

Love in Action - Ways You Can Help Out

Can you help? In order to keep the Memorial Garden looking nice for families visiting their loved ones, we are in need of a few more volunteers to help maintain the space.  Generally, the commitment is for a month, and cleaning is done once a week during your assigned month.  The cleaning includes: Blowing off dust and debris and disposing of it; hosing down the area if needed; removing dead plants or any clutter around the garden and the niches. Can you help in September?  If you have questions or would like to volunteer contact Greg Ogden, BSLC@ogengr.com or Craig Fennel craig@egrafx.com

Back to school sales are happening now, so it's the perfect time to support Youth on their Own's Mini Mall. Please see the flyer for ideas of needed items. We will be collecting items until God's Work our Hands Sunday- Sept 7th. A collection bin will be in the narthex. Youth on their Own provides these items at no cost for youth who don't have a stable living situation.

Sunday Worship

Sunday Worship

9am in person and livestreamed - Sunday, August 17, 2025

Welcome into our community today as we seek to follow the one who gathers us.
May you feel a connection to the beautiful Savior in worship this day! May you join us in learning and seeking to live in G.R.A.C.E. (Generosity, Reaching Out, Advocacy, Compassion, Encouragement).

We gather in the unity of Christ and are all invited to the Lord’s Table. He is the host —we are all guests. We celebrate that Jesus came to us and continues to come to us.  In faith we receive the body and blood of our Lord and Savior. We believe that he did this “for you.”

Join us in-person, on Facebook Live at Beautifulsaviortucson, and on Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88641186563   Meeting ID: 886 4118 6563 and Passcode: 188820
