TIHAN - Tucson Interfaith HIV/AIDS Network
Poz Cafe and CarePackages
Mission: TIHAN provides community resources and caring support so that people with HIV can live well. Through education, we work to encourage everyone to get tested, get involved, and reduce the stigma of HIV.
Poz Cafe, TIHAN’s monthly lunch for people living with HIV, is an opportunity for you to get out of the house, take a break, meet other positive people, and enjoy great food! Once a year Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church co-sponsors Poz Cafe.
A CarePackage is a bag filled with toiletries and cleaning items. Individuals living with HIV are eligible for one CarePackage per month.
We always accept the following donations for TIHAN:
- toilet tissue
- paper towels
- shampoo
- soap
- toothpaste/toothbrush
- laundry detergent
- deodorant
- household cleaning supplies
- feminine hygiene products.
