Sunday Dollar$ donation to Family Resource Center

Dollar bills received in the Sunday collection plates go to our Sunday Dollars fund to help families in our community. The Sunday Dollars team recently presented a check to the Marana Unified School District's Family Resource Center, which is located in the former Thornydale School building where the new Beautiful Savior congregation worshipped in the 1970s and early 1980s.

On its Facebook page, the Marana district thanked Beautiful Savior: 
"We’re incredibly grateful for a generous $3,000 donation from Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church to MUSD! This contribution will help provide clothing, food, diapers, and shoes for families in need across our community. Special thanks to church members Judy Kubuschta, Karen Johnson, Toby Smitt, Mary Mittelstadt, and Andy Anderson for their support and generosity."

The Center is open Monday through Friday providing a variety of services and resources to students and families. 

• Staff providing support services, community resources, and information. ​
• Family counselors, offering counseling services after school and early evenings through school referral and appointment only
• A food and clothing bank relying solely on community donations and grants
• Community Collaboration to provide additional support and services (Love & Logic, Kinship and Parent/Guardian Education, etc.)
