Given that one of the most common New Years' Resolutions is some kind of improvement with "faith," the book for January will be "Everyday Spirituality" by James Hazelwood. It can be found in Kindle, Paperback, and audio versions.
For February, we have two books! Given the length of the month, and interest in learning more about Iona and the community, "Pathways for Pilgrims" by Chris King (Wild Goose Publications) will be read. As we enter into Lent, it has 28 days of devotions and discussions about how the Iona Community seeks to live out their understanding of response to God. The second, a lovely little book titled "Have You Filled A Bucket Today?" by Carol McCloud and David Messing (Bucket Fillers). This book is only 32 pages.
In March, which completes our Lenten journey and ends with Holy Week and Easter, we will read "The Shack" by William P. Young (Windblown Media). The story in the midst of Holy Week and Easter should be especially poignant.
