Merry Christmas! On the week where we recieve the gift of Christ's birth, I find myself reflecting on blessings and generosity. These past few months with you here at Beautiful Savior have truly been a blessing as you have been so generous and loving. This is such a great Community...one where we all experience through the Spirit ~ the gifts of love, grace, and comunity ~ that bind us together as one church, one body of Christ.

Thank you for being so inviting and welcoming me into your family so quickly and making me feel a part of you! It is through this loving attitude we will be able to do the work we need to in the months to come. You are generous people!

At our council meeting last week, we voted to approve those individuals wo so graciously accepted the call to be a part of the Transition Team. THANK YOU! It is a great team of people! As a congregation, be ready for further converstation under the leadership of this team where we will discuss deeply the transitions and the mission plan for 2025 and beyond. Even though we have a lot to do this year, this is an exciting time!

This Christmas season as we continue to hear about the ultimate gift of Christ's birth, I invite you to reflect on the ways God's generosity flows through your life and through the many ministries this congregation is active in. How else could you make a difference in this world?

May our hearts this Christmas receive the greatest gift of all: Emmanuel, God with us. And may the Spirit of generosity - the Holy Spirit - continue to inspire and guide us in the year to come.

Just to let you know, on Christmas morning I will once again be at the airport to return to my family in California. I will be returning to Tucson on Monday, December 30th I would like  to thank Pastor Richard Mauthe for his generosity in leading worship and bringing you the message on December 29th .

With Gratitude and Blessings,

Pastor Tony Scheer
