GRACE Center Update: Thank you for your overwhelming response to our request for warm weather items!
Not only do we have enough for those who come to us and for the CAP program but we were also able to
donate some socks, hats, and gloves to Warmth for Warriors, which gives them out to homeless veterans. We have such an abundance of warm coats and hats that we are thinking of other organizations to share our bounty with! The visitors to our Cup of Cold Water Ministry have appreciated the gift of warm coats, gloves and hats. Thank you.
How to get involved:
Donate to the Cup of Cold Water fund which provides the money to purchase and hand
out $25 Fry’s Gift Cards.
Volunteer to help greet those in need and hand out requested items.
Manna Bags are something that we give out to every visitor, even on days we don't have the Cup of Cold Water Ministry. We encourage all of you to take one or two to keep in your car and hand out when you see a person in need.
Donate any of these items for the Manna Bags:
Protein (Tuna, canned meats)
Individual peanut butter pouches
Individual packets of crackers & nuts
Granola bars & protein bars
Fruit cups and fruit snacks
Bottled water
Wet Ones / Handi Wipes / travel sized hand-sanitizer
So...what is a “Manna” bag and why do we make and give them out in our Community?
“This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living
bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever; and the bread that I
will give for the life of the world is my flesh.” - John 6: 50-51
Manna Bags provide nourishment and support to those individuals within our Community that are in some
need. Inside each Manna Bag is a list of local organizations that can provide more care and services that we
cannot.
