At Beautiful Savior, our goal is to connect youth to the church and community with a fun and spiritually engaging program.

Our 1218 Youth Group provides an opportunity for the youth of BSLC, their friends, family, as well as our neighbors and community to gather in a safe, fun, contemporary faith based setting to extend the teachings of our Beautiful Savior. Through faith learning, community service, social events and networking with other youth.

Here's some of our most recent activities:

• six youth (one non-member) and two adult leaders attended ELCA National Youth Gathering 2018 for five days in Houston Texas with 33,000 other ELCA youth and leaders.
• we participated in several local community service projects; Gods Work Our Hands, #Redsandproject, Lot on 22nd events (feeding homeless on 3 occasions, Holiday Cookie and Clothing Distribution.

Activities in 2019 will include:

• Participate quarterly in community service events at the Lot on 22nd, as well as explore other opportunities through the National Youth Gathering Network.
• Participate in Tucson Area ELCA Churches quarterly "Super Group", as well as participate in
  Youth Quake supporting the Grand Canyon Synod
• Provide support to the Beautiful Savior Vacation Bible School and Southern Arizona Lutheran Camping Association Bible Camp as youth leaders and sharing our experiences with the younger kids of the church.
