Sixteen young people enjoyed learning about music at a mini-music camp held Saturday, July 26 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.

The children of all ages got a chance to make their own instruments, see and touch others and to draw notes on a large music score. They also snacked on graham crackers decorated to look like xylophones.

Congratulations and thank you to church pianist Becky Solomon and to Laura Steichen, Mary Speidel, Toby Smitt, Erica and Peter Clark, Steve and Linda Claasen, and Mary Mittelstadt for their hard work organizing and putting on such a successful event. In addition, Louise Bergdahl helped plan crafts and Garrett Bryant set up audio-visual equipment. Andy Anderson set up tables and chairs. Academy director Becca Vorholzer spread the word to her students.
