Streams in the Desert Lutheran Church is hosting the Synod's MLK Worship Service on January 14th at 2:00 p.m. The celebration will include a worship service that is live-streamed from King of Glory in Phoenix. An appetizer reception will follow the service. Pastor Tom Dunham of Streams in the Deserts says:
We are inviting other churches in the conference to partner with us in providing and serving food in the Small Hall at Streams after the service. According to the synod office, the appetizers don't need to be extravagant or expensive, but the kind of food that brings people together. Please let us know if you are willing to assist us in making this a great celebration.
