Love is a relational expression

John 14: 15-21 is a continuation of the previous 14 verses.
In these verses, love is mentioned 6 times.
Around and through it, we hear promises of an Advocate, and Christ's promise to not leave us orphaned.
Love is a relational expression.
Jesus speaks of an Advocate who will come and be with us.
He tells us we are not orphaned, that we will always have him with us.

Relationships are important.
Love expressed to all your relationships is a sign of that first love- "For God so loved the world..."

May the Advocate give you strength to live out a life of love, reflecting the love given by the one who does not leave us alone!
