"Make a Joyful Noise" is the theme of our mini-music camp for kids, happening from 10 a.m. - 12 noon on Saturday, July 26, at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. We are inviting children ages 4 - 10 to participate in the fun. The event is FREE, but reservations are required. Please RSVP by sending an email to: office@beautifulsavior.net or calling the church office, 520-744-2665 by July 23. You may leave a message including the name and age of your child.
In addition to singing and dance, there will be a craft session where participants will make simple musical instruments to take home. One highlight will be an "Instrument Petting Zoo," in which kids can touch and listen to real musical instruments, including a banjo, guitar, viola, flute, clarinet, trombone and xylophone.
The camp will also include a "xylophone snack," which kids will construct using graham crackers, marshmallows, and other sweet treats.
