Holden Evening Prayer is a beautiful, contemporary vespers service that was written by Marty Haugen in 1985-86 while at Holden Village, a Lutheran retreat center in Washington state. Worship includes communion where everyone is welcomed and invited. We celebrate that Jesus came to us and continues to come to us. In faith we receive the body and blood of our Lord and Savior. We believe that he did this “for you.”
