This is the 27th year for the Fund for Leaders In Mission. It provides scholarships so that no one will begin serving as a Pastor with indebtedness for their education. Over 700 people have recieved funds through scholarships and other student support programs, totaling over 3 million dollars during the 2024-2025 academic year. Despite this, the ELCA is still seeing a serious pastoral shortage as fewer students enroll in seminary and older pastors retire. Your support can really make the difference. The FLIM Golf Classic is a fun way to raise money for this fund as you get in some exercise, hang out with friends and probably get a little frustrated at your golf game! This year it will be held at the Oro Valley Country Club. It is limited to 120 golfers. There is a $5.00 reduction in registration price if your entry form is postmarked before March 16th.
If you don't golf, you can still participate by sponsoring, donating a raffle prize or volunteering at the event.
