Sunday Dollar$ is an outreach ministry that provides various items including shoes, jackets, books, and other items to students at Butterfield elementary school.  We shop with families or meet with them to give them the items personally.  All funds are from one dollar bill offerings placed each Sunday in the collection plate.

Ministry Mission:

This Ministry works to identify needs in our immediate neighborhoods and to provide items to meet those specific needs. We strive to build relationships with our neighbors by encouraging members of the congregation to participate in our events where we are delivering items or purchasing items.

Relation to Church Mission:

We are able to show GRACE as we build relationships with people in our neighborhoods by having events where members of the congregations are present and interacting with the people that we are serving.

3 Highlights from 2019:

1. Shoes purchased for both elementary students and children in the foster care system.

2. Distribution of backpacks and school supplies to elementary students

3. Distribution of Easter Baskets with candy and gift cards to families through ICS.

3 Aspiration for 2020:

1. To continue to seek out needs that can be meet through Sunday Dollar$

2. To encourage more people to share in the distribution and  purchasing events.
