Worship with Communion
Our 10am worship service alternates with contemporary music on the first and third Sundays and traditional music the rest of the time. All services include Holy Communion. Contemporary music is led by our FUSION music group featuring guitars and other instruments. Traditional music is provided by our Choir.
Join us before this service begins for fellowship in Werner Heritage Hall anytime between 9:15am and 9:45am.

Early in the service, children hear a Children's Message. They are then invited to gather for "Children's Corner" which is held in our Luther Room just steps from the sanctuary. In Children's Corner, age appropriate lessons are taught followed by a fun activity. Several adults plan and teach these activities. Children's Corner frees up the parents of young children so they can focus on hearing the lessons and the sermon. At the end of the adult sermon, the children return to the sanctuary for the Prayers and the Lord's Supper.
Our prayers for the day come from the people gathered on Sunday morning. Prayer cards located in the pew racks are for writing prayers of thanks or concern. These are collected by the ushers during the service and combined with the prayers of our children (part of the Children's Corner activity). All prayers are read out loud by worship leaders.
All are welcome to the Lord's table for Holy Communion. Anyone who feels the Holy Spirit's invitation may come forward for communion. We use communion wafers, wine, and grape juice. Gluten-free wafers are available. The wine and grape juice is served in individual disposable cups or sometimes we commune by intinction (dipping the wafer into wine or grape juice). On special occasions we have fresh baked bread. Communion can also be brought to those with mobility concerns who need to remain seated - just notify the ushers that you wish to receive communion. Those not receiving communion, especially young kids, are welcome to come forward for a blessing, indicated by folding your arms across your chest.
Our building is fully wheelchair accessible. Several marked parking spaces are available for those with handicap permits.
Hearing assistance equipment is available in our sanctuary. Please bring your own headphones. If you wear a hearing aid, please consult with the sound technician before service to make sure your hearing aid will work with our sound equipment.
