CROP Hunger Walk
Help fight hunger in Tucson by participating in the Tucson CROP Hunger Walk. Dozens of Tucson churches help raise money through this worthy cause with 25% of those funds remaining in the Tucson area shared between the Tucson Community Food Bank, Casa Maria Soup Kitchen and Interfaith Community Services.
Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church has participated in the CROP Hunger Walk for several years. Can we go above and beyond our goal this year? You can help us do it by walking or donating to the cause.
A link will soon appear here where you will be able to sign up as a BSLC walker, make a donation towards our team goal, or to check on our progress towards our goal.
The walk starts from the First Methodist Church located at Park Avenue & 4th Street which is near the UofA. Free parking can be found at UA Tyndall Garage on 4th St and Tyndall. Registration is at 1:30 pm and the walk begins at 2:00 pm. The walk is two miles long with two water stations. The first stop also has a restroom. The path we take is suitable for strollers, so bring your children. Dogs on leashes are welcome; just be sure you have a bag for any clean up.
