Basic Helps for Sunday Worship

Necessities
The closest restrooms are off the Narthex/Gathering Area (to the right as you enter the church). A water fountain is available outside the restroom doors. Another set of restrooms is in the Werner Fellowship Hall across the patio. Changing tables can be found in all restrooms.

For those needing assistance
Large Print Bulletins are available in the Narthex/Gathering Area. Ask an usher if you don't see them.

Hearing Assistance: For the hard of hearing, we offer a loop system and a FM based system. Hearing aid wearers with a “T” (telecoil) setting can now hear the service broadcast directly through their hearing aids. Others desiring hearing assistance may check out a portable receiver, please bring personal earbuds, headset or neck loop. For help, go to the Soundboard located to the rear of the church, on the left as you enter the worship space.

Anyone with limited mobility: We will deliver communion to you! Please tell an usher. Also, during worship, we will stand and sit and move around. Please join as you are able, but feel free to stay seated if needed.

Children and their parents: Welcome!
Don't worry if some motion or volume comes from your children. This is a space for worship of a living God, so life is welcomed!

Early in our service we have a Children's Message usually by Pastor David. At the end, children are invited to attend Children's Corner while the rest of the congregation listens to the lessons and the sermon. Children's Corner, held in the Luther Room, includes an age appropriate lesson and fun activity. Children return to the sanctuary during the Hymm of the Day.

To keep young ones occupied at various times, we have small activity bags hanging on a rack in the Narthex/Gathering Area. Ask an usher for assistance.

Should you need a quiet space to settle your little one, the Luther Room can be used. A large window allows you to see everything going on in worship and speakers allow you to hear everything.

Changing tables for infants will be found in both the men's and women's restrooms.

Worship service notes
The Offering: This is a time of responding to God with what we have been blessed by God. We are a nonprofit organization funded solely by the generosity of our members and friends. Envelopes are provided in the seat racks for your convenience. Any loose single dollar bills will be used to support our Sunday Dollar$ program.

Communion: We celebrate the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the bread and wine. In faith we receive the body and blood of our Lord and Savior who gave his life for us.  Come forward with an open hand to receive communion. If you wish to receive a blessing, come forward with your hands folded. Grape juice and gluten free wafers are available for those who need it. Children may participate in communion at the discretion of their parents.
