September Pastor's Letter

Submitted by Office Manager on October 3, 2019 - 12:16pm

September is kick-off month.

Even ignoring the NFL, it sure seems that way!  Jenni has told me that the church calendar will need to be printed on 11x17 paper and folded, just to keep it legible.  So, you can tell your friends that your church will have a calendar centerfold (let your friends think what they think about that!).

Seriously though, we are seeking to find better ways of putting information out there for your use.  We want it to be timely and accurate.  We want to be good stewards and watch how much paper we use.

We also want it READ!

Therefore, more information will be emailed to you in short form, with links that will lead you back to the full info on the website for the items that interest you more.  That means the website will receive more info (www.beautifulsavior.net) and have more to see (an ongoing development and improvement process).  There will be more frequent emails with information, and the Bookmark (insert) will continue to highlight items of interest.  There will also be some copies of ministry highlights, the calendar, and the birthday and prayer lists copied and in the narthex for people to pick up.

I also encourage you to check out the Academy website at www.beautifulsavioracademy.org.

You can also ‘like’ the Facebook page of the congregation at www.facebook.com/BeautifulSaviorTucson/ as another way to stay connected.

The Information Age almost overloads us with information.  These are some ways you can get information from us in a (hopefully) easier to digest form that will help you connect and find the things that God is calling you to pay attention to in your life.

As always, contact the office or me via email or phone as well!

Lots of good things happening around BSLC! I hope to see you connected in.

And in honor of the NFL kickoff, it is my pastoral requirement to remind you that: “4Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant 5or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. 7It BEARS all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”  (1 Corinthians  13: 4-6)

Remember that God loves you, and so do I!

Pastor David
