Thanksgiving Chapel           I mentioned in last month’s newsletter that I would give an update on our Scholastic Book Fair that we held in September.  I am happy to report that we earned $1149.00 in Scholastic Dollars that we can spend in their catalog for classroom supplies and books.  Thanks again for all of your support!

Again this year we will be focusing on the “Fruits of the Spirit” during the month of November with our students.  One way that we do that is by collecting food for ICS.  We will focus on one particular item that is in high need each week.  Then we will be inviting our families to a special chapel service the week of Thanksgiving.  We welcome anybody who would like to join us on either Monday November 25th or Tuesday November 26th at 9:30a.m.  Following chapel we will gather in Werner Hall for a light snack and a time of fellowship.  Please consider joining us as we come together in “thanksgiving”.

As the holidays quickly approach we are also nearing the end of the calendar year.  Registration will begin in late February and we need to have an idea of how much scholarship funds are available through ACSTO.  Therefore, I am asking you to make your donation as early as possible and not wait until the deadline of April 15th.  If parents are confident that we have scholarship money available then they are more likely to make the decision to keep their child with Beautiful Savior Academy for kindergarten.  We only have 7 students this year, all of whom are on full scholarship, but we would like to increase that number to at least 10 for the fall.  That means we need to reach a total of $34,500.00 in our ACSTO recommended funds.  Please consider taking advantage of this opportunity.  Not only will you be providing much needed scholarships for our families, but you will receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on your Arizona State Taxes.  There are brochures in the narthex or you can check out their website at  Together we can fill our kindergarten classroom!

Happy Thanksgiving!
