Highlights
of the Complete minutes are
posted in the Narthex. The meeting was called to
order at 7pm. Present were Bill Boltz (Presiding), Charles Durrenberger,
Lyneen Elmore, Terri Lappin, Greg Ogden. The
congregation letter from council was discussed. There was a consensus that
revision is needed. The
Constitution Review Committee is nearly through with editing the
constitution. Congregation vote on the constitution is planned for the
November 1st Congregational Meeting. The
ELCA “Book of Faith” will be used in the Adult Forum. Council members
received handouts related to this ELCA initiative which encourages reading
and discussion of scripture. The
Ministry Team Retreat is scheduled for Aug 9th, 9am – 2pm. Council will
arrange for food (morning snacks and lunch). Ministry
Team reports were given by liaisons. The
July Council meeting will be held on July 28th (one week later than
usual). The Executive Meeting will be held on July 13th.
